Parador is a leading premium brand for hard floor coverings with an international focus and the highest standards of quality and design. Parador was founded in 1977 and develops and produces floor coverings such as laminate and parquet for private and commercial use by customers all over the world. In addition to high quality standards for the technology and materials of its products, the company has received several awards for outstanding product design. In addition to its headquarters in Coesfeld, Parador operates a production site in Güssing, Austria.

By developing advanced technologies and innovative design concepts, Parador aims to expand its brand in an international environment. In doing so, the wood processing company acknowledges its particular responsibility in the area of sustainable use of resources and is therefore a partner of the “Plant-for-the-Planet” foundation.

NORD Holdings Contribution

Parador was acquired by the Hüls Group in 2016 as part of a carve-out and set up as a completely independent group of companies thanks to the participation of NORD Holding. As a sparring partner, NORD Holding supported the development of key staff functions and, through its use of funds, enabled strategic investments, such as investment in a laminating plant for vinyl production. In 2018, the stake was sold to HIL Limited, a subsidiary of the Indian CK Birla Group.
