The Circlon Group's original investment is PDS GmbH, founded in 1986. Through targeted acquisitions in the areas of WLAN infrastructure and software development, the Group with around 100 employees at 3 locations, is now one of the most powerful providers of mobile data collection. The product portfolio ranges from mobile applications and managed services to complete life cycle management with the cloud-based Circlon | Operate tool. Circlon | group's customers include well-known logistics, industrial and trading companies such as Hermes Logistik, Deutsche Post AG, Dachser, DPD, Saint-Gobain, RWE, EDEKA, REWE and Gebrüder Heinemann.

Market & Drivers

The Circlon | group has entered the ITSM (IT Service Management) market as a niche player and is focused on becoming a leading company specialized in managing mobile devices in the retail and logistics sectors. In order to successfully penetrate the market, the company developed Circlon | Operate, as its own cloud-based platform, for marketing on OEM and reseller markets in order to set a standard outside the German market.

NORD Holdings Contribution

NORD Holding acquired 70% of the PDS Group in 2006 and has been supporting the company since then with ongoing expansion and several acquisitions in the areas of WLAN infrastructure and software development.
