MedXpert is a provider of implants and instruments for bony thorax indications, offering abroad product portfolio for functional, dynamic and stable fixation of the bony thorax such as ribs or sternum. The implants are used for rib and sternum trauma, correction of thoracic deformities and extensive reconstructions. MedXpert focuses on its patented and innovative clipping technology. Since its foundation in 2002, MedXpert is known worldwide as "The Chest Wall Company" and is one of the few specialized providers in this segment.

Market & Drivers

The strongly increasing demand for chest wall stabilisation surgeries with implants is primarily driven by the latest medical evidence and new international guidelines. These prove that treatments with thoracic and rib implants achieve better outcomes than conservative therapies. In addition to the clinical evidence, the lower costs of patient care (through operations and implants) are a relevant factor for hospitals. Against the background of the expected market growth and the successful internationalisation in recent years, MedXpert is ideally positioned to further accelerate its historical growth of ~30% p.a.

The NORD Holding Small Cap Fund invested in MedXpert GmbH in February 2025 as part of a succession process. As a strategic partner, NORD Holding supports MedXpert in the implementation of organic and inorganic growth strategies. In particular, the joint goal is to further drive the internationalisation of the company, to professionalise the organisation & its processes and to implement strategic acquisitions.
