Founded in 1994 with headquarters in Leipzig and project offices in Berlin, Zurich, Wolfsburg and Bayreuth, EWERK employs over 200 people. The service portfolio covers the entire technological life cycle: from IT project consulting, software development & design, transition management, enterprise IT outsourcing to the operation of own data centers and critical infrastructures, as well as business process outsourcing. EWERK customers are European companies from the energy, healthcare, mobility and public sector sectors.

EWERK focuses on regulated and/or public end customers. Due to regulatory requirements and digitization pressure, they are faced with the challenge of modernizing historically developed, sometimes inefficient monolithic IT landscapes.

NORD Holdings Contribution

NORD Holding has acquired a majority stake in EWERK as part of a primary transaction. In addition to organic growth, NORD Holding will support EWERK in executing a targeted buy-and-build strategy.
