Institutionalization of the organization in a dynamic and underserved market environment

Due to its recent history, the market for mobile video surveillance is still characterized by low market penetration. In Germany, only around a fifth of the addressable market has been developed, which is leading to correspondingly high growth rates and increasing demand for mobile video surveillance:

• Limited availability of mobile video surveillance systems to meet market demand requires investments in system production
• Low degree of institutionalization of the rapidly growing organization

Strategy

Investing in surveillance systems and disruptive technologies

As part of our investment, the following initiatives were implemented together with the founders and management:

• Extensive investments in new monitoring systems
• Refinancing as a basis for further growth
• Introduction of an innovative “plug and play” product for B2B customers (“NESTOR”)
• Implmentation of a second level of management
• Institutionalization and automation of processes

Strong growth profile through scalable set-up

The measures implemented have created the basis for sustainable double-digit growth:

• Doubling the number of monitoring systems
• Go-to-market of the first “NESTOR” devices
• Increasing profitability
